Its that time of year again and I just wanted to thank you all for being suppportive of me and my endeavors as I pursue my career in the publishing industry. There's been alot of highs and lows for me this past year, but the one thing I cherish the most is the fact that your paying attention to the things I write about in my blogs. I've noticed that my fan page at---> http://www.facebook.com/pages/Suspended-In-Time-by-Thomas-Allen/8654962660 has been steadily increasing and for me it doesnt get any better than that. I don't have to sell a million novels to know that I'm relevant. I'm relevant because your undying love and support is what keeps me going. I'm thankful for all the people that have ever stopped for me while I was out there in the streets in the bitter cold to support my product. That in itself means more than words can express. If the human race were more supportive of their people, we would be unstoppable. As artists, I need you to understand that we work hard to produce material that can forever change the lives of your kids as well as your perception of life. Whether its fiction, biography, or an autobiography, it takes a certain amount of digilence and dedication to put thoughts on paper and transform it into book form. We need you to understand that in order for us to put out other works, we depend on you to get the word out to the general public. Some of you follow artists that don't even communicate with you because they're 'too busy' or 'too important' to interact via the internet. Five minutes out my time is nothing for those who show love to me on a daily basis. As much as I support artists in the music industry, I don't believe in the notion that they can't take five minutes out their day to engage with their followers (the same ppl who finance their lifestyles by buying their music and products). I'm from a different breed, it doesnt matter who you are to me cuz when you show love its only right for me to show it right back. If you can relate to what I'm saying then you know what I'm talking about. The New Year is right around the corner and I will continue to do what I've been doing. I'm focused on putting out my three other works which are long overdue. In the meantime, I got love for you and I hope you continue to show it back. As for the haters, I'm glad to be ur inspiration. Actions speaks louder than words....

KNICK FAN FOR LIFE!!
I'm a New York Knick fan for life for the simple fact that I followed the era when the Chicago Bulls and Jordan had a serious disdain for us. That rivalry was the beginning of christening me as a lifetime fan of my Beloved Knicks. You think Spike Lee is the only dedicated fan? Well think again! I be right there with them as I'm sure you all do as well, screaming at the top of your lungs at the television. You think they can hear you but they can't! I remember when Spike Lee agitated Reggie Miller in a game and Reggie scored like eight points in less than ten seconds. I remember when Charles Smith went for the lay up instead of banging the ball in the rim which costed us a win. I remember Jordan coming back from retirement and torching us for fifty some odd points. I remember John Starks banging it on Jordan, Pippen, and Horace Grant from the baseline. I remember the LJ's three with the foul from the baseline against the Pacers. Allan Houston winning that buzzer shot against Miami in the playoffs. Starks winning the 6th man award coming off the bench. Pat Ewing hitting three's and making game changing plays. I also remember Starks going 6 for 18 from the three point line against Houston in 1994. These are just a plethora of events I recall which stand out in my mind that solidifies me as a true New York Knickerbocker. Just like you, I've been patiently waiting on the day when the Knicks can bring our city a parade. With the acquisition of Amare Stoudemire, Raymond Felton, and our current roster I believe in my heart the Knicks can reach the playoffs this year. I witnessed the heartwrenching loss to the Boston Celtics the other day which we should've won. The referees neglected to add a few more seconds to the game clock before Amare hit that final shot, but it didn't count much to the dismay of Knick fans. That was a terrible call and the referees need to afford the players the opportunity to finish a game, especially when it comes down to the last shot. The entire MSG erupted when that shot went down! The looks on the faces of the Boston Celtic players was priceless. Even they didn't comprehend what had just transpired right before their eyes. It wasn't until the signal from the refs after reviewing the play for what seemed like an eternity, that the Boston Celtic players finally got a sigh of relief. It's moments like these that invigorate players to perform at their peak level. I've seen alot this year thus far from Amare Stoudemire and I believe his leadership skills overshadow the things he can on the court. So far, he is the MVP of the NBA in my opinion for coming to a team and having such an impact and making NY contendors again. There's all this talk about bringing Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks but until I see him in uniform I'm not going to hold my breath. We'd be more than willing to welcome Carmelo, but talk is cheap in NY. You either bout it or your not. Who wouldn't want to play in the greatest arena of all time? Carmelo on the wing, Felton running the pick and roll with Amare, Chandler doing what he does so I hope the Knicks know what they're doing because right now we have chemistry and chemistry wins ball games.... GO KNICKS !!!

Views on the Internet
I just wanted to come through and show some more love since everyone was raving about my previous post. Anyway I'ma try to make this real sweet and concise. This whole internet thing is a GIFT and a CURSE!! I say that to say this, its a gift when you have product you want to share with the world so in essence the internet gives you unlimited range to reach out to people in that regard. The curse is when you put your all into what you do to see that noone really cares about what you got going on. Ignorant people don't respect talent, they're too busy chasing celebrities to even bother with the people that they interact with on a daily basis. You can be whoever you want to be on the internet. Some people create profiles on sites for the simple fact of gaining followers, but have no TALENT!! Their idea of talent is demoralizing theirselves by posting explicit pictures of themselves. This is the new "in thing" these days. I am apalled by the things I see on the internet from day to day. I don't understand how people could stoop to those levels, but who am I to judge? I have low tolerance for stupidity so most of that stuff goes right over my head. Then you have those people that create profiles to play oppossum and talk about they dont know how to use the site. If that's the case, why are you here? Some of the things I post I say what I feel and it comes from the heart. But some people dont want you to say what you have to say since they have loyalty to whomever you may bring up. The last time I checked, we have the freedom of speech which gives us the ability to say what we have to say without being critiqued for it. Another thing I see on the internet is people living vicariously through others. I'ma be blunt, I don't ride noone's coat tail! I make my own lane and if a person dont like what I have to say, they can kick rocks for all I care. I see people all the time putting others on pedestals and its sickening to me. I support my artists, theres not an ounce of hate in my blood. But I refuse to kiss a motherfuckers ass, I don't give a fuck who you are! I've realized that ignorance and sex is what sells over the internet but I'm not about to compromise who I am for the sake of gaining followers on Twitter. That shit is lame to me! You can have millions of followers but what does it mean if they don't know what you really stand for? If they're following you for the simple fact you have allegiances to other people, then they're not that LOYAL to you. The minute they can get what they want out of you or get you to put them in a position, your ass will be long forgotten. At the end of the day, I wish people would just be theirselves cause that fronting shit is played out!! I remember back in the day, we had no access to computers. These things did not exist, but its here now and we have adjusted to it. If you know how to utilize it, its a major tool for your business. I used to think people cared about what you posted but people don't care these days. If you allow one jackass to get you off your track, then your in the wrong business. You have to do what you have to do regardless of what the haters think or may say. When your a threat to people's existence, you get shade and blackballed. Hate is an incurable disease, get well soon bitches!!
Ja Rule Facing Two Years Jail Time
I know it's been a long time, actually its been nearly eight months but I figured it was befitting since we are getting closer to the New Year. I couldn't leave ya'll without coming to say a word or two. I was reading the Daily News today and it doesn't surprise me that none other than Ja-Rule is the next victim to be facing charges of possession of a weapon. This occured on the very same night Lil Wayne was arrested following a concert at the Beacon Theater for the very same charge in 2007. It seems like everyone thinks its cool to be incarcerated all the sudden. The harsh reality of this is the fact that this man has three kids and a wife who depends on him. To be 34 years of age and still allowing yourself to be caught up in the drama indicates your irresponsible and a hazard to society. There's no excuse! Being locked up affects your entire family, mentally, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. Its not just you that has to do time, but your family and loved ones are also doing time until your pending release date. Sometimes I wonder about these rappers and the people they have in their circles. Jail is not the same thing as it used to be back in 89' and what kills me is the fact that these dudes do their time to come home bigging up their chest like King Kong as if they were in the thick of shit! The reality is people like that are automatically considered "high profile" so there is little to no chance that they will end up in general population. Instead, they end up in IPC which is Involuntary Protective Custody and have limited contact with the general population. Fans of these people don't even know what's real! All they know and seem to think is that their in there "holding it down" because that's what they perpetuate. I'm not gonna undermine a person's ability but I will call it like I see it! I went to an event last year that focused on "Bury The Beef" with Al Sharpton and a host of others and Ja-Rule was there in support of the movement. For him to be going through what he's facing right now seems to be mind boggling to me. Don't talk the talk when you can't walk it. The more people glorify these rappers, the more they feel the need to act as if they're gangsters. In the end, a wife and her three kids are without a father for two years and the family suffers tremendously...This is not a personal bash against the man, but sometimes tough love is what people need to hear at times...
P.S. And truth be told, aint nothing gangsta about being in IPC

ARE YOU REALLY SAFE?
A couple weeks back, a prisoner slipped out of court as a result of an officer's negligence or should I say stupidity to be blunt! Freddie Thompson walked out of a Staten Island courthouse by tricking officers he was someone else. He was supposed to be arraigned on five robberies, but came forward for a less serious charge of possession of drugs. The officer who made the gaffe is currently on modified duty. In another article, I found out that Commissioner Raymond Kelly proposed the NYPD would lose 892 officers. Kelly said his force will deal with cutbacks through attrition. They'll have to do more with less, which directly affects Operation Impact. That's when you see all the rookie cops flooding prone crime areas. That system hasn't been as effective as it should and I think its about time. These officers are the same ones who unjustly racial profile people for no apparent reason. I'm not saying for us not to have some type of police presence on the streets, but it gets a little disturbing when these incompetent officers salaries are paid from our hardworking tax dollars to do nothing but give us grief. There are criminals out there that deserve to be profiled but what makes things strained between cops and regular normal law abiding citizens is the fact that they think everyone deserves to be treated as a criminal. They have no regard for who you are as a person. Once they pounce on you, its over! Your best bet is to have a damn good lawyer on retainer to get you out the mess that the NYPD put you in. This is why I've been so under the radar as of late. You can't fight a battle without great ammunition. When your booked, they concoct all kinds of lies and fictitious accounts of what happened so by the time you face the judge-your facing an assault charge on NYPD. How do you beat a rap like that without a lawyer? Dont expect to beat that charge with a court appointed lawyer cause its not happening. My advice to you would be to stay clear of NYPD and get your money up for that retainer. You have to prepare yourself these days, you never know whats gonna happen and what life may bring...
COPS GONE WILD!
A New York City firefighter and a Long Island town fire chie were arrested on March 10, 2010 for allegedly brandishing guns and threatening a pedestrian. Sometimes when you hear of these kind of acts being done by officials who took an oath to serve and protect the people you get a little disgusted. There was no reason why Michael Charles, the Long Island Fire Chief had a handgun while Brian Schuck had a shotgun. They menaced and harassed an unidentified man on a Sunday afternoon in Hempstead Long Island. Shuck, whose an eight year FDNY veteran at Ladder 11 in Brooklyn was suspended without pay following said incident. The chief surrendered to authorities after his actions. This incident is somewhat reminiscent of the guy who was tackled by a police officer while on his bike during a protest. Its not unusual that these kind of offenses occur on a daily basis. People who are in power often abuse it and before you know it, you have a criminal charge of assault on police. Fortunately for him, there was footage that captured him trying to avoid the officer. It was the officer who charged at him and thats when all hell broke loose. That same cop retired from the force and is now facing criminal charges. I remember a cop pulled out a gun on me one day while in plain clothes. I was walking down the block with my girl when all the sudden it happened. He was looking at my fiance so I barked at him for being disrespectful and he decided to pull out his gun waving it in my direction. How low can you be? Your the police but yet you act like some ignorant thug. We went to the precinct to file a complaint but nothing ever happened. This same officer lives in my neighborhood and I often see him from time to time. When I do see him, he acts as if I don't remember him but he knows he was wrong. My fiance and I saw him about a week later at Pathmark and guess what? He was with his wife! Just like that I could've been a victim of ignorance as a result of some pervert with a badge. I guess to justify it, they'd bring up my criminal history like they always do when someone gets killed. As if that's all thats needed to prove they did society a favor by getting rid of you. The laws out here don't serve the public when you have known officials doing things you'd expect from ignorant people. They put all these damn cops on our street corners to agitate you but whose monitoring their actions? Are they being reprimanded? I'm sure the guy in my case didn't! God forbid if he had pulled that trigger! I would not be here to share this with you.

DEATH ON THE NO. 2 TRAIN
I dont know if you've been paying attention to the news or the paper lately. If you haven't, I'll try my best to bring you up to speed. The articles I've read over the past two weeks have made me realize that violence is a reoccurring theme within the Black and Latino communities worldwide and this epidemic will never go away. People preach "Stop The Violence" but whose really listening? Monday, March 29, 2010 I brought a Daily News which is my normal routine for my long trip to Harlem. To my dismay, I read that two twenty four year old kids were slain on the number Two train heading Downtown Brooklyn. What sparked the drama was two groups on the same train. Someone from one group threw garbage at a receptacle which hit someone by accident. This was enough for that person to go into a rage pulling out a knife and attacking two men from the first group. Three people were hurt during that incident, two losing their lives while the other received wounds to his neck and arms. I couldn't believe the stupidity of the person responsible for doing such a heinous act. There was no need for him to take such drastic measures, especially after the kids apologized. I guess he took that as a sign of weakness and made his move. One of the deceased was engaged and its senseless when I hear of things like this. A few days later, I read in the paper the person who committed the crime turned his self in to authorities. He worked for the airport doing baggage handling and all his co-workers say he was quiet and very polite. I guess you never know who you got working next to you, especially when its a psychopath who has no regard for human life. This whole thing about Stop The Violence falls on deaf ears. Everyone out here want to be some kind of gangster or thug villian for whatever reason. I guess some people still working on their rep and we're in 2010. Some people act tough on the streets but once they're Suspended In Time, they turn into church mice. Don't be shocked if this very same person ends up washing the next mans drawers and socks in prison. I've seen it myself so nothing suprizes me anymore. My heart goes out to the family and friends who lost Ricardo Williams and Darnell Morrell...

JUNGLE GYM SENDS OUT WRONG MESSAGE
PICTURE TAKING UR KIDS TO A NEWLY DEVELOPED PARK IN UR NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE MINUTE U GET THERE, U NOTICE THE JUNGLE GYM HAS A MAKE SHIFT JAIL SECTION WITH THE WORDS "JAIL" PRINTED. WOULD U STILL ALLOW UR KIDS TO PLAY AT THAT PARK OR WOULD U FORBID THEM? THE REASON I ASK THAT QUESTION IS BECAUSE TODAY I WAS READING AN ARTICLE IN THE DAILY NEWS AND I WAS APPALLED AT WHAT I WAS READING. I DISCOVERED THERE WAS SUCH A GYM CONSTRUCTED IN THE TOMPKINS PROJECTS IN THE BEDFORD-STUYVESANT AREA FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS. I REMEMBER GROWING UP WE USED TO PLAY A GAME CALLED "MANHUNT" WHERE TWO TEAMS WOULD PLAY AGAINST THE NEXT. ONE TEAM WOULD RUN WHILE THE OTHER WOULD TRY TO PUT THE PLAYERS FROM THE OPPOSING TEAM IN "PRISON". ONCE A MEMBER FROM YOUR TEAM IS CAUGHT, IT WAS UP TO SOMEONE FROM UR TEAM TO FREE YOU WITHOUT GETTING CAUGHT FROM THE OTHERS. THIS GAME WENT ON FOR HOURS AT A TIME AND WE HAD ALOT OF FUN PLAYING IT. WHAT I DIDNT KNOW BACK THEN WAS THE FACT THAT WE WERE SUBCONCIOUSLY SOCIALIZING ONE ANOTHER INTO THINKING GOING TO JAIL WAS A NATURAL PART OF GROWING UP, HENCE LIFE. EVEN IF ITS A GAME, THE THOUGHT OF IT STAYS WITH YOU LONG AFTER YOUR DONE PLAYING SO BY THE TIME YOU GET OLDER AND WELL INTO YOUR TEENS-YOUR ALREADY PREPARED SINCE YOU'VE BEEN CONDITIONING YOUR BODY TO ELUDE FRIENDS AT A SIMPLE GAME. WHEN UR OLDER, YOUR NO LONGER RUNNING FROM FRIENDS. INSTEAD YOUR RUNNING FROM THE COPS AND AS A KID YOU'VE BECOME QUITE ADEPT AT RUNNING CIRCLES AROUND PEOPLE. WHY NOT THE COPS? I CAN IMAGINE THESE YOUNG INNOCENT KIDS PLAYING AT THAT JUNGLE GYM NOT REALIZING THE SOCIOECONOMIC EFFECTS THAT WILL HAVE ON THEM LATER IN LIFE. FROM READING THE ARTICLE, THE KIDS SAID THEY LOVED PLAYING COPS AND ROBBERS. OF COURSE THEY DON'T KNOW THERES A SYSTEM SET IN PLACE TO SEE TO THEIR FAILURE, ITS CALLED PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE. IF U DONT KNOW THIS BY NOW, THEN UR SUSPENDED IN TIME! THESE PEOPLE ARE NO LONGER AFTER US, THEY WANT OUR KIDS! THEY WANT YOUR KIDS AND WILL DO ANYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO SEE TO IT THAT THEIR MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED AT ANY AND ALL COSTS. SOME RESIDENTS COMPLAINED ABOUT THE OUTLANDISH GYM AND SOME EVEN WENT AS FAR AS TO PAINT OVER THE WORD "JAIL" TO NO AVAIL. IT WAS PAINTED BACK OVER TO SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE. WHY DO THEY DO THIS IN OUR COMMUNITIES AND CONTINUE TO GET AWAY WITH IT IS BEYOND MY SCOPE. THAT SAME GYM IS STILL STANDING AND ONCE COMMUNITY ACTIVISTS GOT INVOLVED, THE PEOPLE'S VOICE WAS HEARD. WHY DID IT TAKE EIGHT YEARS FOR THAT TO HAPPEN? IMAGINE TRYING TO DEPROGRAM ALL THOSE KIDS WHO PLAYED ON THAT GYM FOR THE EIGHT YEARS THAT IT WAS THERE? THE BATTLE IS ALREADY WON, THE WAR IS NEVER OVER!

LIL WAYNE ON THE ROCK?
Lil Wayne has finally turned his self in to finish his year sentence on the Riker's Island stemming from a gun charge. Weezy's work ethic and energy will surely be missed by his peers and his many fans all over the world. The last time the media had so much buzz surrounding an entertainer going to prison was with T.I., who is currently at a halfway house after serving his time of a year and a day for the same offense. I remember many years ago, Tupac was at the height of all the legal troubles. Many artists had their fare share of being locked up or going to trail, its almost as if they're being scrutinized even more by the Powers that Be. There's not alot of crime happening on the streets these days as opposed to when I was growing up in the 80's. The Hip Hop community is at the center of scandal because as much as I hate to say this, some people like to draw attention to themselves. Lil Wayne was immediately placed in protective custody the minute he arrived on Riker's Island soil. I can imagine how many officers relished the thought of having to strip search him or have the luxury of having him on their gallery. I'm pretty sure alot of them will be putting in for alot of overtime now that Lil Wayne is in the building. Since he's such a high profile person, theres no way he could go to general population. He doesnt have anything to prove to anyone nor should he try to prove anything to anyone. He's at a place in his life where he has alot to lose and others don't so he needs to be mindful of that. I know it sucks to be locked up twenty three hours a day against his will but they did the same thing to Tupac when he was in Clinton Lower F. Its not about being real, its about preserving your career and life. The good thing is he doesnt have alot of time to do so hopefully he'll utilize this brief hiatus to focus on what he really needs to focus on, which is MUSIC. See you when you get out Weezy, I'm riding for you--I might just send him a copy of my book.

DOUBLE JEOPARDY
Do you know the meaning of the term Double Jeopardy? I'm about to put you on to something that will enlighten and bring awareness to a term that is often taken for granted in the criminal justice system. Double Jeopardy means-->Being tried twice for the same offense; prohibited by the 5th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. So for instance, you were found not guilty on charges of robbery or what have you the prosecution cannot try you on the same charges you were acquitted of. Even if you served time for an offense, that same offense should not be brought up if you catch a new charge. In other words, I did time for robbery but whenever I catch a bullshit case (I'm talking about driving offenses), there are some blood thirsty DA's out there that try to revive my past no matter how good I'm doing or how much I've changed my life around. All they seem to want to focus on is that one big stain on my record from when I was seventeen, which was over twenty years ago. If that aint desperate then I dont know what is. Its as if I am being tried for that same offense all over again and by law they are not allowed to do that. But when blood thirsty DA's dont have anything to go on and their case is weak, their priority is to try and paint as much a negative portrait of you to get things going in their favor. It doesnt matter that I finished college, my thought processes are not the same. I am reformed and a law abiding citizen that work Mon-Fri like most of you do. I dont hang out in the streets. I dont sell drugs and I'm no longer a sheltered adolescent longing for attention, but they dont want to focus on the good. The bad is all they seem to look for no matter how much good you've done in your life. I could've won the Nobel Peace Prize, they still would bring up my past. Thats just how they do, but you need to know your rights. Reason I bring this up is because not too long ago I went through this process as I sat in front of the judge for a misdemeanor I clearly didn't commit. Long story short, two of my girl cousins were locked up after they were in a car accident. Once the cameras starting rolling, police got belligerent and were aggressive towards them. Its as if they're programmed to be incompetent, its a damn shame. When I get to the precinct to check on their well being, I gets locked up for criminal mischief. I sat in the bullpens for what seemed like an eternity waiting for my name to be called to see the judge. Once I reached that point twenty some odd hours later, I listened to this DA bring up my past which I expected of him. The judge didnt pay that any mind as I was released right there and then, but I still have an open court case. As much as I try to stay under the radar, I was really disappointed and perplexed by the whole situation. My hands don't call for that and I was happy to be out of there. It seems like once you have a felony on your record, that is one thing the powers that be will hold you accountable for. As if people don't make mistakes in life. I made mine, paid my dues, and even worked ten times as hard to prove to myself that I'm a better person than I was as a teen. Do you think that matters? Not in the eyes of blood thirsty Assitant District Attorneys looking for a conviction under their belt. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. Find someone else to be a part of your little experiment, I'm busy!
ALLEGED RAPE VICTIM GETS JAIL TIME
Can you imagine being locked up for a crime you didnt commit? I know alot of people heard the saying before "I didn't do it" and the person crying out for help still ends up incarcerated. What brings me to talk about this topic is a young mother who falsely cried rape, sending an innocent man to prison for nearly four years, will experience firsthand what her so called rapist suffered -- she'll spend one to three years behind bars for perjury.
William McCaffrey who was the alleged attacker says "I wish her the best of luck, jail isn't easy". At the age of 30, Mr. McCaffrey of the Bronx was sent to prison for four years after Gonzalez accused him of accosting her at knifepoint in 2005.
Although it was a blatant lie Gonzalez told to everyone involved in the case, a jury convicted McCaffrey and he was sent upstate. Where's the justice in this case? So you mean to tell me a woman's mouth is more believable than the truth? Just imagine if that was you who had to face such a horrendous situation. How would you feel? If that was your family member, how would you react? It just goes to show you how unfair the criminal justice system is when analyzing and investigating allegations. The difference between you being a free man or a convicted felon lies on the fate of a person that lies and bends the truth to suit their agendas. In reading the article, the whole reason she lied was because she didn't want her friends to be upset with her since she ditched them after getting into his car. To gain sympathy in their eyes, she tells them she was raped and that spawned a trail of lies which led to an innocent man being convicted. The four years he spent behind bars will never be replaced. Lord knows what happened to him while in there, because if you've read my earlier posts you will understand that rape is a crime punishable by death in most prisons. Its the lowest form of crime one can be in prison for and is ranked right along with the pedophiles. I can't speculate on what McCaffrey went through but I'm sure his transition in prison wasn't an easy one. Especially when your case is nationally televised all over the networks. During her sentencing, Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon said, "What happened in this case is one of the worst things that can possibly happen in our criminal justice system. It's hard to imagine why anyone could have done this". Gonzalez will be eligible for parole after serving a quarter of the time McCaffrey spent in prison. If it wasn't for a priest who told her to come clean, she probably would've moved on with her life and lived with her decision on her conscious for the rest of her life. After talking with her priest, she recanted her story when during trial she could've done the same. Instead, she watched the whole thing take place and an innocent person sent to prison for her shenanigans. I wonder how many other people are sitting in jail for similar reasons. What happened is a tragedy and I'm sure she'll have more than enough time to think about her transgressions. The District Attorney who was outraged gave her two to six years so she could have a chance at doing the same time McCaffrey did. Although she had a clean record and could've gotten off with probation, the severity of her lying in court earned her time behind bars. Perjury is a serious offense and Gonzalez is learning that the hard way. During sentencing, she pleaded to the court to have mercy on her for her sons, three months and the other seven years old. She even offered a statement for McCaffrey who was not present. She said, "To Mr. McCaffrey, I am aware that nothing I do or say to him can bring back the years he spent in jail. I want him to know I will carry this guilt for the rest of my life." In a previous interview with McCaffrey, he told reporters "A person who would "lie and paint somebody as a rapist is worse than a real rapist or a real murderer". The only thing for him to do is sue the city for unlawful imprisonment and try to seek monetary damages for being Suspended In Time for four years. Whatever that amount works out to be, I'm sure it will be more than pocket change. The time he spent in there he'll never be able to get back! Its stories like these that make me scared of women these days... :/

WHERE'S BIN LADEN?
A report from Ashraf Khan of The Associated Press confirmed a spokesman for al-Qaida has been captured in Karachi, Pakistan by Pakistani intelligence. His name is Adam Gadahn who is also an American born spokesman for al-Quaida. This arrest comes approximately three weeks after the recent capture of Taliban military commander Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, as he was leaving a seminary in the Pakistani seaport of Karachi, Pakistan. The latter arrest is purported to be "a tremendous achievement for Pakistani intelligence and American collaboration". Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, who is Taliban's second in command has vast knowledge of links between Taliban operations in Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is currently under pressure and providing information to Pakistani and CIA officials. When you cut off the head, everything else falls like dominoes. His arrest spawned the capture of three more suspected top al-Qaeda militants. Most important among the trio of suspects was Ameer Mauawia, described by Pakistani intelligence officers as the commander of al-Qaeda's foreign fighters on the Pakistani tribal lands along the Afghan border. Mauawia is said to be a trusted and longtime ally of bin Laden's, whom he allegedly followed when bin Laden fled from Sudan in May 1996 to Afghanistan to set up his terrorist training camps. Pakistani security forces also arrested two senior Taliban commanders in charge of operations in the northern Afghan provinces of Kunduz and Baghlan. The Kunduz commander, Mullah Abdul Salam, was captured far from the Afghan border, in the central Punjabi town of Faisalabad. And according to Pakistani intelligence and tribal leaders, a missile fired on February 18, 2010 by a U.S. drone at a vehicle in Pakistan's tribal territory killed Muhammad Haqqani, the younger brother of Sirajuddin, a pro-Taliban commander who masterminded the suicide bombing at a U.S. base in December that killed seven CIA agents.
With the arrest of all these top al-Queda commanders, its only a matter of time for officials to catch up to Bin Laden, who is rumored to be severly ill. The arrest of Gadahn is a major victory in the U.S.-led battle against al-Qaida and will be taken as a sign that Pakistan is cooperating more fully with Washington. He's posted videos in the past inciting Muslims to strike on the West and even praised the U.S. Army official who killed 13 people in Fort Hood, Texas as a role model for other muslims. American born Muslims are not buying into his rhetoric though and denounce his futile attempt for the destruction of their country. A U.S. court charged Gadahn with treason in 2006, making him the first American to face such a charge in more than 50 years. He could face the death penalty if convicted and is also charged with two counts of providing material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. I give the U.S. officials as well as the Pakistani officials a big shout out for their continuous effort to fight terrorism. Their diligence and resilience is well earned. No matter what happens in the weeks and months ahead, these idiots will be forever Suspended In Time for the remainder of their natural lives...

MINORS BEING SOLD FOR SEX IN JAMAICA
I WAS ABSOLUTELY APALLED WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS VIDEO LAST NIGHT. ITS DISTURBING TO SEE HOW FAR PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO GO FOR THE SAKE OF MONEY. MONEY IS THE ROOT TO ALL EVIL SO FOR YOUR OWN BROTHER OR UNCLE TO SELL THEIR OWN FAMILY MEMBER FOR SEX IN EXCHANGE FOR CURRENCY IS TRULY SAD. I HAVE LEFT THE LINK TO THE VIDEO AT THE END OF THIS BLOG FOR YOU TO COPY AND PASTE INTO YOUR BROWSER IF YOU WANT TO SEE FOR YOURSELF. THE GIRL WAS NO MORE THAN THIRTEEN YEARS OLD AND WAS SOLD FOR FOUR HUNDRED US DOLLARS. WHATS CRAZY ABOUT THIS SITUATION IS THE FACT THAT SHE WAS SO COMFORTABLE WITH THE ARRANGEMENT. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON. AFTER THE STING OPERATION, SHE SEEMED A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED THAT SHE WASNT GOING TO BE HAVING SEX. I SENSED A DISCONNECTION IN HER EMOTIONS AS HER BROTHER WAS ARRESTED FOR SANCTIONING THE OPERATION THAT SHE WAS CLEARLY A POND OF. AS A BLACK MAN, I AM DISGUSTED AND OUTRAGED! THIS IS PART OF THE REASON WHY BLACK WOMEN HAVE LOST TOTAL RESPECT AND FAITH IN US. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BLACK WOMEN AND MEN HAVE SERIOUSLY DETERIORATED OVER THE YEARS AND THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG. I'M PRETTY SURE THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER COUNTRIES DOING THE SAME EXACT THING. HOW CAN YOUR OWN BROTHER SELL YOU FOR MONEY? ITS ABSURD TO EVEN THINK OF THIS! PEOPLE DO SOME CRAZY THINGS IN THIS WORLD WE'RE LIVING IN SO NOTHING SUPRIZES ME ANYMORE. THEN WE WONDER WHY OUR BLACK WOMEN RESENT US. BECAUSE WE DON'T ACT LIKE THE KINGS WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE BUT WANT TO BE TREATED AS SUCH. WHATEVER HAPPENS TO HER BROTHER/UNCLE IS WELL DESERVED AND HE'LL BE SUSPENDED IN TIME FOR HIS ACTIONS SINCE HE CHOSE MONEY OVER LOYALTY TOWARDS HIS OWN FAMILY. PEOPLE INDULGE IN ALL KINDS OF NEGATIVE THINGS THEN CRY FOR JESUS CHRIST WHEN IT HITS THE FAN. IF HE WANTED MONEY THAT BAD, WHY DONT HE GO SELL HIS OWN ASS TO THE STREETS? I'M JUST SAYING :/

50 QUAKES IN 5 DAYS!
The reason I posted the earlier blog was to give you an overview of what really transpired in Haiti two weeks ago. There were fifty consecutive quakes that affected the Haiti region dating back from January 12, 2010 til January 17th. So in the span of five days, this country was devastated by not one quake but a series of quakes that totally obliterated the nation. Being born in the United States doesn't exempt me from speaking on Haiti. I have just as much right to speak about the issues affecting my people because their blood runs through my veins. I would hate to believe that my homeland of The United States of America would take part in a covert operation that would directly impact my people. Til this day I have yet to hear from family members. My mother's entire family lives in Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas such as Delma, Carrefour, and Rue de Centre. Conspiracy theorists have speculated that our country is taking part in a collective military effort to seek and destroy but I leave that up to your objective minds. This project is better known as The Haarp Project, which Jesse Ventura exposed a month ago. If you look at the time frame of all the quakes that affected Haiti, you will notice a starking revelation. From the left, you will see the date, time, latitude, longitude, depth, and finally the magnitude of the quake. If you take a look at Haiti's depth, the scale reads 10 for each quake which means 10 feet below the Earth's surface. Also, when you check the magnitude of these quakes all of them range from 4.4 and the highest recorded is 7.0. This is what was initially reported to us on the 12th of January 2010. I did my own math and came up with 244.2 magnitude if you add all the quakes together. Then I got an average of 4.884 (round off to 4.9 for argument sake)when you divide the sum by 50. I'm not a rocket science, but something doesnt sound right here. How does one country seem to get hit with all those quakes in a span of five days? We all know California is prone for earthquakes but not even they could sustain that amount of shock as much as they're used to quakes. The numbers below indicate the total fatalies a single country amassed as a result of an earthquake. You clearly see California just had a quake and recorded no fatalities, but the depth of this quake was 29.3km below the Earth's surface, which leads me to believe the risk was less. As for China, it was 19km with a magnitude of 7.9 which killed 87,587 people. For the Andaman Islands, the depth was 30km killing over 200,000 people. The point I'm trying to make is the fact that the higher the magnitude and the closer the epicenter of the quake is to the region, the more damage it will create. Haiti's death toll is expected to reach well over 200,000--the census is not in since people are still being counted for and there are countless hundreds buried under rubble. Fifty quakes is enough to obliterate and create the disaster that Haiti encountered several days ago. I would hate to believe my country is behind some covert operation that clearly wanted to test how much damage they could do with a weapon of mass destruction. This form of combat is not supposed to be used and if this is the case, we're in alot of trouble as a nation. As you think about these things, I want you to be objective and do your research as well as comment back with what you have learned. Lets get a dialogue going, because the germ of defeat is in every selfish thought. I don't think any country could withstand that amount of pressure as a result of an earthquake. Not even California experienced anything remotely close to what Haiti endured. I pray for my people in Haiti and you need to be weary of what your doing when your donating money. Who is to say your not taking part of something greater than you and me as a whole. Think about it!

PRISONERS FREED FROM HAITI EARTHQUAKE
Can you imagine being locked up serving an insurmountable amount of time? I dont wish this on anyone, but just envision being in a situation where your Suspended In Time for quite a while. I remember I used to dream of something like that to happen for me when I was locked up for seven years. There were times I thought about being freed from prison like Daniel in the Bible. Unfortunately for me, being freed came later than sooner but nevertheless I was freed! Mainly due to my determination and persistence by filing an appeal for a ticket I received in Attica for assault on staff. They denied me witnesses so that was all I needed to file my appeal. I had enough grounds and God guided me through it all. I was later transferred to Sing Sing, then from there my appeal came back stating I had a de novo hearing. In other words, they granted me another hearing for the ticket I already served six months in the box for. I had 18 months in the box altogether over the years as well as 18 months loss of good time. When I went to the hearing, they still found me guilty but since I had already served the box time-they couldn't give me anymore time than what I had already served. Everything was working in my favor! The hearing officer said he wasn't going to take any good time from me so that meant I was a free man. I was well over my Conditional Release of six years so when I heard him say that, I just looked up and thanked God for freeing me. Thats how I came home because I was supposed to go back to another parole board in two years, which would've been my fourth but God made sure that didn't happen. He had bigger and better plans for me, I came home on a technicality. That was then, this is now. In Haiti, over two thousand prisoners were freed as a result of that horrendous quake. Can you imagine a bunch of crazed pedophiles, rapist, and murderers running the streets free amidst all that's taking place in Haiti? This is what Haiti is dealing with right this very minute. Not only do they have to deal with helicopters dropping food down to them as if they're a bunch of savages but they have to worry about a bunch of crazed prisoners who were freed in the midst of chaos. Talk about a miracle! You know how many days I thought about something like that happening for me? Anyhow, my heart goes out to my people in Haiti-we are a resilient people and will bounce back from this stronger than ever. Its unfortunate this had to happen in order for the world to become more conscious of the country's needs but God works in mysterious ways so who are we to question the hand of God?

NBA PLAYERS OR THUGS?
I wanted to talk about another sports figure who recently got involved with the law as a result of brandishing a weapon. NBA guard Gilbert Arenas whose a guard for the Washington Wizards pleaded guilty Friday, January 15, 2010 to one count of carrying a pistol without a license in the District of Columbia. It seems like getting in trouble with the law is something these players look forward to doing. You would think that after seeing the end result of all the other figures who get in trouble for carrying pistols, they'd be more cognizant and responsible for their actions but this is not the case. Gibert Arenas is fortunate to receive a plea agreement instead of receiving four charges. The Assistant United States attorney could've given him the maximum penalty of five years of being Suspended In Time. Instead, prosecutors didn't push for that. The three time All-Star is expected to do six months for his actions and scheduled to be sentenced on March 26, 2010. He awaits sentencing and has since been suspended indefinitely by the NBA. The league is currently investigating the matter and have not issued a final punishment until said investigation is completed. Another great career down the drain as a result of poor decision making.
Arenas’s gun charge was the result of a Dec. 21 altercation in the Verizon Center locker room with guard Javaris Crittenton. On Friday, Kavanaugh presented a statement of facts regarding the dispute between Arenas and another player, although Crittenton was not named.
The prosecution said that Arenas and the other player were involved in a dispute on the team plane as it flew from Phoenix to Washington after the Wizards’ Dec. 19 game against the Suns.
Arenas and the player got into an argument over a card game. The other player suggested that he and Arenas have a fistfight, but Arenas, 28, said he was too old to fight. Arenas then suggested he would burn the player’s vehicle or shoot him in the face.
The other player said he would shoot Arenas in his knee. Arenas told members of the Wizards’ organization that the statements were made in jest.
On Dec. 21, at about 9:30 a.m., according to the statement, Arenas entered the Wizards’ locker room wearing a backpack over his chest. Arenas was carrying at least one firearm in the backpack, a Smith & Wesson revolver.
Arenas walked from his locker to the locker of the player, opened the backpack and placed four unloaded firearms on a chair near the player’s locker. Arenas wrote “Pick 1” on a piece of paper and placed it on the player’s chair.
When the other player entered the locker room, he asked Arenas, “What is this?” Arenas told the player that he said he was going to shoot him, so he should pick one of the weapons.
According to the statement, the other player told Arenas he did not need one of Arenas’s guns because he had his own. He then threw one of Arenas’s firearms across the room. Arenas saw the other player display what looked like a silver-colored, semiautomatic handgun.
“I never threatened or assaulted anyone with the guns and never pointed them at anyone,” Arenas said in a statement released earlier this month. “Joke or not, I now recognize that what I did was a mistake and was wrong.”
After the altercation, Arenas placed the firearms inside his locker before putting them into a suitcase. He gave the suitcase to a teammate and instructed him to place them in Arenas’s car, which was in the Verizon Center’s parking garage.
The prosecution said there was no evidence that the teammate knew the bag contained firearms. The teammate could not find Arenas’s vehicle, so he placed the suitcase in a secured area of the garage, according to the statement.
Wizards team officials soon learned of the firearms, and Arenas told team management about the altercation. Arenas led a member of the Wizards’ security staff to the suitcase, and the security staff took the weapons from Washington to Virginia.
On Dec. 24, Arenas surrendered four firearms to the Metropolitan Police Department. All four guns were unloaded, but Arenas does not have a license to carry firearms in Washington, and the firearms were not registered there.
Crittenton has not been charged with a crime. On Thursday, the police searched his Arlington, Va., home for the gun that was reportedly used in the dispute with Arenas.
It is unclear if the Wizards will seek to void the rest of Arenas’s six-year, $111-million contract.
After Arenas entered his plea, the Wizards issued a statement that called him “a cornerstone” of the team for six years but said they were “deeply saddened and disappointed” in his actions and that he had used “extremely poor judgment.”

Happy Birthday Martin Luther King
Today we celebrate the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Born on January 15, 1929, Dr. King dedicated his entire life towards the Civil Rights Movement. He was a peacekeeper despite the abuse and mistreatment of our people during racial segregation. He fought for our civil rights as an activist along with countless other humanitarians who didnt believe in the ideology of one set of people being treated one way and others being treated unfairly. He stood up for us when people were scared to speak out and for that he was taken from us at the young age of 39 on April 4, 1968. I celebrate his legacy today along with you all because he paved the way for us to have a better life. He changed an entire nation, but as we all know til this day the very same things he fought for still exists in our world today. We've come a long way, but there's still alot of work to be done. In order to eradicate the mentality of people you have to change the way people think. It's because of him we all have our very first black president in Barack Obama. Not in a million years would you think that was possible but he laid the groundwork that paved the way for President Obama to be in office today. What I liked about Doctor King was the fact that he looked at all races of people being one. He believed in human kind, it didnt matter whether you were white, black, green, or orange. His determination to abolish racism sparked His infamous "I Have a Dream" speech in Washington. Well I'm here to tell you I have a Dream also. That dream is to help my people in Haiti right now who are suffering right now. We all have a little humanitarian in each of us and that's one thing about the human race I respect. In hard times, we bring solidarity and bond together for a common cause. I have a real cause right now that I need to fight and bring to the forefront. That fight is to make sure I'm doing my part to help out my people who is in dire need of my help. God works in mysterious ways and if this is my calling, then I whole heartedly accept the challenge. I was built for adversity! With that being said, I'm starting a foundation for that very purpose. Thanks to my good friend Bobby Johnson, I'm setting the wheels in motion to do my part. I'll update you with more information real shortly. Enjoy your day and be Blessed.

Da Brat Wilds Out!
First and foremost I want to wish you all a Happy New Year. God has blessed us to see another year and for that we should all be grateful. Without further adue, I was supposed to post this a while back but I figured I'd share it with you now since there seems to be so many people being locked up that I can't seem to keep up. This particular person is no stranger to you or me and she goes by the name of Shawntae Harris aka Da Brat. If you ever wondered what happened to the beautiful damsel who is a sister to LisaRaye McCoy, well let me put you on to the scoop. Da Brat has been Suspended In Time for the past two years serving a three year sentence for an incident that occurred in Atlanta at Studio 72, owned by mentor Jermaine Dupree. Apparently she got into a dispute with one of the waitresses there by hitting the victim with a bottle then slashing her face with the same bottle. This happened on October 31, 2008. Pleading guilty to the lesser charge of aggravated assault in hopes of a lighter sentence, the judge showed no mercy and slapped Da Brat with three years in prison since the victim suffered permanent facial scars. I've always loved her style and her fiery delivery when it came to rapping. She's also sexy as hell but Da Brat is not a stranger to trouble. Her rap sheet also includes an incident that earned her a year probation and lots of community service for a pistol whipping incident. We all love Da Brat, we all grew up with her and watched her develop into who she is today. I hate to see her in that predicament and I hope she learns a valuable lesson from her situation. There's a fine line of things you can do once your in the limelight and she clearly crossed that line. I wish her nothing but the best and pray for her speedy return back to society!
