Its that time of year again and I just wanted to thank you all for being suppportive of me and my endeavors as I pursue my career in the publishing industry. There's been alot of highs and lows for me this past year, but the one thing I cherish the most is the fact that your paying attention to the things I write about in my blogs. I've noticed that my fan page at---> http://www.facebook.com/pages/Suspended-In-Time-by-Thomas-Allen/8654962660 has been steadily increasing and for me it doesnt get any better than that. I don't have to sell a million novels to know that I'm relevant. I'm relevant because your undying love and support is what keeps me going. I'm thankful for all the people that have ever stopped for me while I was out there in the streets in the bitter cold to support my product. That in itself means more than words can express. If the human race were more supportive of their people, we would be unstoppable. As artists, I need you to understand that we work hard to produce material that can forever change the lives of your kids as well as your perception of life. Whether its fiction, biography, or an autobiography, it takes a certain amount of digilence and dedication to put thoughts on paper and transform it into book form. We need you to understand that in order for us to put out other works, we depend on you to get the word out to the general public. Some of you follow artists that don't even communicate with you because they're 'too busy' or 'too important' to interact via the internet. Five minutes out my time is nothing for those who show love to me on a daily basis. As much as I support artists in the music industry, I don't believe in the notion that they can't take five minutes out their day to engage with their followers (the same ppl who finance their lifestyles by buying their music and products). I'm from a different breed, it doesnt matter who you are to me cuz when you show love its only right for me to show it right back. If you can relate to what I'm saying then you know what I'm talking about. The New Year is right around the corner and I will continue to do what I've been doing. I'm focused on putting out my three other works which are long overdue. In the meantime, I got love for you and I hope you continue to show it back. As for the haters, I'm glad to be ur inspiration. Actions speaks louder than words....

Being incarcerated affects about ninety five percent of the population. This topic needs to be addressed and I bring awareness to this epidemic affecting all of us one way or the other...

KNICK FAN FOR LIFE!!
I'm a New York Knick fan for life for the simple fact that I followed the era when the Chicago Bulls and Jordan had a serious disdain for us. That rivalry was the beginning of christening me as a lifetime fan of my Beloved Knicks. You think Spike Lee is the only dedicated fan? Well think again! I be right there with them as I'm sure you all do as well, screaming at the top of your lungs at the television. You think they can hear you but they can't! I remember when Spike Lee agitated Reggie Miller in a game and Reggie scored like eight points in less than ten seconds. I remember when Charles Smith went for the lay up instead of banging the ball in the rim which costed us a win. I remember Jordan coming back from retirement and torching us for fifty some odd points. I remember John Starks banging it on Jordan, Pippen, and Horace Grant from the baseline. I remember the LJ's three with the foul from the baseline against the Pacers. Allan Houston winning that buzzer shot against Miami in the playoffs. Starks winning the 6th man award coming off the bench. Pat Ewing hitting three's and making game changing plays. I also remember Starks going 6 for 18 from the three point line against Houston in 1994. These are just a plethora of events I recall which stand out in my mind that solidifies me as a true New York Knickerbocker. Just like you, I've been patiently waiting on the day when the Knicks can bring our city a parade. With the acquisition of Amare Stoudemire, Raymond Felton, and our current roster I believe in my heart the Knicks can reach the playoffs this year. I witnessed the heartwrenching loss to the Boston Celtics the other day which we should've won. The referees neglected to add a few more seconds to the game clock before Amare hit that final shot, but it didn't count much to the dismay of Knick fans. That was a terrible call and the referees need to afford the players the opportunity to finish a game, especially when it comes down to the last shot. The entire MSG erupted when that shot went down! The looks on the faces of the Boston Celtic players was priceless. Even they didn't comprehend what had just transpired right before their eyes. It wasn't until the signal from the refs after reviewing the play for what seemed like an eternity, that the Boston Celtic players finally got a sigh of relief. It's moments like these that invigorate players to perform at their peak level. I've seen alot this year thus far from Amare Stoudemire and I believe his leadership skills overshadow the things he can on the court. So far, he is the MVP of the NBA in my opinion for coming to a team and having such an impact and making NY contendors again. There's all this talk about bringing Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks but until I see him in uniform I'm not going to hold my breath. We'd be more than willing to welcome Carmelo, but talk is cheap in NY. You either bout it or your not. Who wouldn't want to play in the greatest arena of all time? Carmelo on the wing, Felton running the pick and roll with Amare, Chandler doing what he does so I hope the Knicks know what they're doing because right now we have chemistry and chemistry wins ball games.... GO KNICKS !!!

Views on the Internet
I just wanted to come through and show some more love since everyone was raving about my previous post. Anyway I'ma try to make this real sweet and concise. This whole internet thing is a GIFT and a CURSE!! I say that to say this, its a gift when you have product you want to share with the world so in essence the internet gives you unlimited range to reach out to people in that regard. The curse is when you put your all into what you do to see that noone really cares about what you got going on. Ignorant people don't respect talent, they're too busy chasing celebrities to even bother with the people that they interact with on a daily basis. You can be whoever you want to be on the internet. Some people create profiles on sites for the simple fact of gaining followers, but have no TALENT!! Their idea of talent is demoralizing theirselves by posting explicit pictures of themselves. This is the new "in thing" these days. I am apalled by the things I see on the internet from day to day. I don't understand how people could stoop to those levels, but who am I to judge? I have low tolerance for stupidity so most of that stuff goes right over my head. Then you have those people that create profiles to play oppossum and talk about they dont know how to use the site. If that's the case, why are you here? Some of the things I post I say what I feel and it comes from the heart. But some people dont want you to say what you have to say since they have loyalty to whomever you may bring up. The last time I checked, we have the freedom of speech which gives us the ability to say what we have to say without being critiqued for it. Another thing I see on the internet is people living vicariously through others. I'ma be blunt, I don't ride noone's coat tail! I make my own lane and if a person dont like what I have to say, they can kick rocks for all I care. I see people all the time putting others on pedestals and its sickening to me. I support my artists, theres not an ounce of hate in my blood. But I refuse to kiss a motherfuckers ass, I don't give a fuck who you are! I've realized that ignorance and sex is what sells over the internet but I'm not about to compromise who I am for the sake of gaining followers on Twitter. That shit is lame to me! You can have millions of followers but what does it mean if they don't know what you really stand for? If they're following you for the simple fact you have allegiances to other people, then they're not that LOYAL to you. The minute they can get what they want out of you or get you to put them in a position, your ass will be long forgotten. At the end of the day, I wish people would just be theirselves cause that fronting shit is played out!! I remember back in the day, we had no access to computers. These things did not exist, but its here now and we have adjusted to it. If you know how to utilize it, its a major tool for your business. I used to think people cared about what you posted but people don't care these days. If you allow one jackass to get you off your track, then your in the wrong business. You have to do what you have to do regardless of what the haters think or may say. When your a threat to people's existence, you get shade and blackballed. Hate is an incurable disease, get well soon bitches!!
Ja Rule Facing Two Years Jail Time
I know it's been a long time, actually its been nearly eight months but I figured it was befitting since we are getting closer to the New Year. I couldn't leave ya'll without coming to say a word or two. I was reading the Daily News today and it doesn't surprise me that none other than Ja-Rule is the next victim to be facing charges of possession of a weapon. This occured on the very same night Lil Wayne was arrested following a concert at the Beacon Theater for the very same charge in 2007. It seems like everyone thinks its cool to be incarcerated all the sudden. The harsh reality of this is the fact that this man has three kids and a wife who depends on him. To be 34 years of age and still allowing yourself to be caught up in the drama indicates your irresponsible and a hazard to society. There's no excuse! Being locked up affects your entire family, mentally, financially, spiritually, and emotionally. Its not just you that has to do time, but your family and loved ones are also doing time until your pending release date. Sometimes I wonder about these rappers and the people they have in their circles. Jail is not the same thing as it used to be back in 89' and what kills me is the fact that these dudes do their time to come home bigging up their chest like King Kong as if they were in the thick of shit! The reality is people like that are automatically considered "high profile" so there is little to no chance that they will end up in general population. Instead, they end up in IPC which is Involuntary Protective Custody and have limited contact with the general population. Fans of these people don't even know what's real! All they know and seem to think is that their in there "holding it down" because that's what they perpetuate. I'm not gonna undermine a person's ability but I will call it like I see it! I went to an event last year that focused on "Bury The Beef" with Al Sharpton and a host of others and Ja-Rule was there in support of the movement. For him to be going through what he's facing right now seems to be mind boggling to me. Don't talk the talk when you can't walk it. The more people glorify these rappers, the more they feel the need to act as if they're gangsters. In the end, a wife and her three kids are without a father for two years and the family suffers tremendously...This is not a personal bash against the man, but sometimes tough love is what people need to hear at times...
P.S. And truth be told, aint nothing gangsta about being in IPC
