KNICK FAN FOR LIFE!!

I'm a New York Knick fan for life for the simple fact that I followed the era when the Chicago Bulls and Jordan had a serious disdain for us. That rivalry was the beginning of christening me as a lifetime fan of my Beloved Knicks. You think Spike Lee is the only dedicated fan? Well think again! I be right there with them as I'm sure you all do as well, screaming at the top of your lungs at the television. You think they can hear you but they can't! I remember when Spike Lee agitated Reggie Miller in a game and Reggie scored like eight points in less than ten seconds. I remember when Charles Smith went for the lay up instead of banging the ball in the rim which costed us a win. I remember Jordan coming back from retirement and torching us for fifty some odd points. I remember John Starks banging it on Jordan, Pippen, and Horace Grant from the baseline. I remember the LJ's three with the foul from the baseline against the Pacers. Allan Houston winning that buzzer shot against Miami in the playoffs. Starks winning the 6th man award coming off the bench. Pat Ewing hitting three's and making game changing plays. I also remember Starks going 6 for 18 from the three point line against Houston in 1994. These are just a plethora of events I recall which stand out in my mind that solidifies me as a true New York Knickerbocker. Just like you, I've been patiently waiting on the day when the Knicks can bring our city a parade. With the acquisition of Amare Stoudemire, Raymond Felton, and our current roster I believe in my heart the Knicks can reach the playoffs this year. I witnessed the heartwrenching loss to the Boston Celtics the other day which we should've won. The referees neglected to add a few more seconds to the game clock before Amare hit that final shot, but it didn't count much to the dismay of Knick fans. That was a terrible call and the referees need to afford the players the opportunity to finish a game, especially when it comes down to the last shot. The entire MSG erupted when that shot went down! The looks on the faces of the Boston Celtic players was priceless. Even they didn't comprehend what had just transpired right before their eyes. It wasn't until the signal from the refs after reviewing the play for what seemed like an eternity, that the Boston Celtic players finally got a sigh of relief. It's moments like these that invigorate players to perform at their peak level. I've seen alot this year thus far from Amare Stoudemire and I believe his leadership skills overshadow the things he can on the court. So far, he is the MVP of the NBA in my opinion for coming to a team and having such an impact and making NY contendors again. There's all this talk about bringing Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks but until I see him in uniform I'm not going to hold my breath. We'd be more than willing to welcome Carmelo, but talk is cheap in NY. You either bout it or your not. Who wouldn't want to play in the greatest arena of all time? Carmelo on the wing, Felton running the pick and roll with Amare, Chandler doing what he does so I hope the Knicks know what they're doing because right now we have chemistry and chemistry wins ball games.... GO KNICKS !!!
